Educational qualification and other qualifications and experience:
- Minimum HSC/ Equivalent Pass.
- Must have at least 02 (two) years of practical working experience in the workplace.

Conditions BIWTA Job Circular 2024
- Candidates have to apply in BIWT job application format. The sample application form is also available on the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) website (www.biwta.gov.bd). 03 (three) copies of passport size attested photographs must be attached with the application form. No other documents need to be attached with the application form at this stage. However, original copies of all educational qualifications and experience certificates, permanent resident and citizenship certificates issued by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/City Corporation Ward Commissioner etc. must be produced and 01 (one) attested photocopy of the relevant documents must be submitted at that time.
- At the time of oral examination, the certificate/certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs for the children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters, the original copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority in the case of orphanage residents and physically challenged and concerned at that time must be produced01 (one) attested photocopy of documents to be submitted.
- A Pay Order/Bank Draft (irrevocable) of tk.100 (One Hundred) against “BRWTP-1 Project” should be attached with the application form.
- In respect of recruitment and other financial facilities, the prevailing norms of development schemes issued by the Government will be followed.
- Candidates working in Govt/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organizations should apply through self-authority. Advance copies will not be accepted.
- The name of the post, the name of the candidate and the name of the candidate’s home district should be clearly mentioned on the envelope of the application form.
- Candidates will be contacted by letter to participate in the written/oral test. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the examination. A 10″ x 4″ size envelope containing a postage stamp of Tk 10 (Ten) written on the candidate’s current address should be enclosed with the application.
- Application form should be forwarded to the Project Director, BRWTP-1 Project, BSC Tower (19th Floor) by 21/10/2024 at 05.00 PM.
- Defective and incomplete applications will be considered rejected. The Authority reserves the right to suspend or cancel this recruitment notification without any reason.
